In Psalms 83, we find the picture of the enemies of God on one side and the Children of God on the other.  This ages old battle is raging at a feverish pitch.  Darkness can't stand light and reacts in lying, cheating, murder, mayhem, evil actions.  They are all anti-God (Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ) and do all in their power to rid the earth of their remembrance.  History is a proof of this, as well as God's Word.

For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. They take crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.

 

They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.  That is verses 2, 3, and 4 of Psalm 83.  It further lists those are in that grouping and all Moslem or false religionists.

The God of the Jews is our Heavenly Father (JEHOVAH), including Jesus Christ the Christian.  They are the God of the light.  While the false gods (including Moslem) are all in darkness. The false wanna be gods are the children of Satan, whose only reward he can give is death and destruction.  The father of all lies.

We are the children of light.  Ph. 2:15, "That you be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world."  John 8:12, "Then spake Jesus again unto them saying, 'I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.'"

We are in the midst of this warfare.  So, we need to realize who the enemy is and how he works.  Satan and his crowd only know ways of darkness, doing all they can do to rid the world of light.  Never compromise your faith, for it is surrendering unto darkness.  They have religion but not salvation.

But, put on the whole armor of God and walk in victory.  Be on the victory side.  Verse 17-18, "Let them be confounded and troubled for ever, yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, ART THE MOST HIGH OVER ALL THE EARTH.  AMEN."

Will a man rob God?  Good question, and the answer is a loud, "YES!"   Many preachers ask this question in a sermon on raising money.  But, that is not the whole meaning of this question.  Some use it to have members to give more to the Lord's work.  There are other reasons, also.  Some give to escape responsibility of seeking the lost, or soul winning ... or, having a compassionate heart towards the hurting, dying, and spiritual problems; thinking they can't deal with the situation.

 

One of the main ways we are Robbing our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ is to not being willing to share the Gospel; the Good news that God Loves us and has made a way for all of us, regardless of our sinful situation and bondage ... the drunks, drugs, and all the rest of our sinful acts of mankind, that Satan has used to kill and destroy.

 

The whole purpose for the creation of mankind was for our Heavenly Father to have fellowship, and relations with us.  When we fail to seek out the lost sheep, teach, baptize, and teach; we are robbing God!  When we fail to give our time, moneys, talents, and all we have to further the Gospel; we are robbing God!  Many are the ways of Robbing Our Heavenly Father and Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, of the fellowship of mankind.  We fail in our commission 'Go into All the World and Preach the Gospel'.

 

So many of us think, "I gave my dollar, today, and did my duty of just going to church.  Some say, "Let someone else do it.  I am too busy," or, "I am too GOOD to associate with those filthy, dirty, low life."  Some might even think, "I just don't have to do everything God says!  I'll just do what I like and nothing more!"  All kinds of excuses and lies are given to escape full surrender and to become a servant.

 

In what ways are you robbing, not only God but, yourselves of the great times of love, fellowship, rewards, and joys of serving Jesus Christ with your whole heart; the most exciting life you can have on the face of the earth?  Many, many, souls would be added to the Kingdom ... if you would take this responsibility upon yourselves to be a soul winner, prayer warrior, clay in the Master's Hand.

 

Malachi 3 has it correct, when He asks the question, "Will a man rob God?"  What are you gonna do about it?  Acts 2:38, "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."  Acts 2:42, "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers."

 

It's a picture of what we must do to be saved, s well as what we must do as obedient servants.  Then, you will not rob God, the Father and Jesus Christ, so much ... and many will be saved from His wrath.

 

In Psalm 19:7-11, we find the answer.  In verse 10, we find the value, "More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb."   What then is so valuable and priceless?  The answers would take much more than a lifetime to completely understand.  In fact, in the flesh we might not ever come close.  But, in the next life, in eternal life, we will know all about it!

 

In verse seven, we find, "The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple."  The laws of God are many and include all His Spiritual Laws, as well as all the laws we know in this life; the controlling laws of the universe, how they work, and what they consist of, and the laws we must learn to operate wisely in His Kingdom.  They are sure and complete, making those wise who know and apply, when appropriate, in our lives.

 

In verse eight, scripture says, "The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes."  God tells us what our limitations are in our relationships with Him and with others; the guidelines of conduct and operations or doings we are called to perform for Him (such as soul winning, missionary, ministering, etc).  They keep us within the Perfect Will of God for our lives.

 

In verse nine, it says, "The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether."   These cover all our relationships and worship of our great Heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.  It also tells us that we are to be dealt with as sons and that when we sin.  The punishment is to restore us into a right relationship with Him.  We never have to worry about God punishing us severely for a very small sin, but that the punishment will be measured in the degree of disobedience.  He has proved Himself to us in the teachings of His Son, Jesus Christ, of who He is and what He expects from us.

 

These are just a few insights as to why they are to be desired, the value they are to each of us and why we should seek to learn and understand them.  So, at the appropriate time ,we can apply, with all the wisdom that God has given to us, that we might be prepared to return to our Heavenly Home, fully qualified to fulfill the whole purpose that we were created to become.

 

Experiencing our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit daily prepares us to live abundantly, with the most Blessed Hope and power to live to its fullest.  That is why they are so valuable, now and forever, in eternity.  Please test and let God prove to you their value ... to you and to all of us.  He can and will teach you, if you will only desire to have Him show and teach you.  You will have the most Blessed Life you can experience, in this life as well and the one to come!

Our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ say, "I am that I am."  That means that God is!  He is also the creator God.  In Hebrews, He states that the creation was done through His Son, meaning Jesus Christ.  

From God being God, we have an orderly universe.  We have life that is higher than animals, because we are created by Him, in His image.  Christians should know that we get all our laws, justice, righteousness, forgiveness of sins, victory over death, and a system of society that is based on the rule of law.  The society, thus based, receives liberty, freedom, justice, and the value systems that are in harmony with God's law of life and all that pertain therein.

These are the principles that our country was founded; The Constitution, Bill of Rights, and laws of the land based on God's law ... thus, giving everyone equal rights, ordained of God and given to us ... because our freedom is based on His righteousness and His Law.   We, therefore, have a value system of values based upon His Word.  These are undeniable facts that can't be overlooked, unless one is fool enough to face God and say to him, "You don't exist.  Therefore, I am god."

The enemy of God is called humanists!  Their belief is based on and centered on man, as the source of all things.  This philosophy is centuries old; devised by Satan to steal, kill, and rob mankind of their rights, privileges, and knowledge of God the Father and Jesus Christ.

They, in their philosophy, are called many things; such as atheists, socialists, leftist, communists, and all other false religions.  Since their origin, they presume that all things and powers center on man, even with his  unregenerate heart filled with all kinds of evil.  They think that they have the wisdom to create a society which is created and operated by man, thus eliminating God from their lives ... a world without God!  A society without  limits, finite structuring, value systems, or any other reasoning system based on logic.

They love death and hate God so they can create a society free of any hindrances to their actions.  They have no moral system, rights and/or law system, or any structure for their society ... so that every man does what is right in his own eyes.

From this philosophy, you get death, abortion, homosexuality, murder, rape, pillage, thefts, euthanasia of the elderly, and no justice.  You also go on a downward slide into total anarchy and warring against everyone.  They tell us they love us, but only love us to die.

This philosophy is enforced by the courts system of saying it is illegal to teach anything other than humanism in the public school system.  The courts and government state this and you can be arrested for teaching any other philosophy in schools, from post graduate down to kindergarten.  Abortion was forced upon us when 76% were against it.  But, the courts made the law, using the police to enforce it and the judges to rule in favor of  humanist's philosophy instead of rightness.

The  government, courts, and Congress are all anti-God in their philosophy, or they would correct this matter.   This is a war against God and we, as citizens, are caught in the middle of this warfare.  While Christians are on God's side, they leave, vote, and support humanist politicians through ignorance.  They protest abortion and  bad teaching in schools, but don't and won't pay the price for taking a stand for truth.

Unless we know and understand the picture of the warfare, we wind up on the losing side, and God is closed out of many lives ... and the evil will just increase even more: murder, rape, dope, alcohol, stealing, warfare, rebellion, and all that goes with Satan and his rule.

Since God is, man is a fool to disregard all the evidence of His existence and accept a very much lower standard to live by, which is no standard but relative to what the lowest thinker thinks and does.  Our nation is apparently filled with many fools and, sorry to say, they are in places of power and authority.

What can we do to stop the deteriorism by mankind to destroy, kill, and rob us of even life itself.

(1.) Preach the truth.
(2.) Learn about humanist philosophy and their errors in reasoning.

(3.) Understand the total picture of what is going on and how the enemy (Satan) and his followers work to destroy our freedoms, liberties, and our value systems in our country. 

Our rights are God given, not man given.  If we decree God out of our country and lives of its people, you will have no rights, no life, and no justice.   Life with out God is not living.  Get in the battle, which is raging at a fever pitch.

God is!  God is!
